When is a dental crown particularly successful? Perhaps when nobody notices that it is a crown at all.

Natural teeth are by no means simply white. They have different colour zones, degrees of translucency, surface structures and individual characteristics. It is precisely these apparent irregularities that create naturalness.

More than a tooth shade

In aesthetically demanding restorations, face, lips, neighbouring teeth, tooth position, lighting conditions and personal charisma all play together. Especially in the anterior region, the smallest differences can decide whether a restoration appears harmonious or is perceived as a foreign body.

What all-ceramics make possible

Modern all-ceramics offer excellent possibilities for this. Through different ceramic materials, individual characterisation and hand layering, the appearance of natural tooth structure can be reproduced in a highly differentiated way.

But here, too, the same applies: technology alone does not create aesthetics.

Good dental restorations arise from observation, experience and communication between dental practice, dental laboratory and patient.
